After never cooking much more than a couple of toasted sandwiches together, our inaugural Salami Day was born. We pay tribute to our Italian heritage (some of us anyway), carry on some traditions passed through generations while creating some new ones of our own.
Collectively taking advice, lessons and guidance from those we love and respect most – our grandparents – and some special ingredients like Nonno’s wine to remember those no longer with us, we got together for solid day’s work.
The recipes below are our first foray into salami making and with the yield of the crop we look forward to passing them on to future generations. Drop by the studio if you’d like to sample the finished product!
